Hazel Mather Joins SIP Land Processing Team


(ABERDEEN, United Kingdom: March 20, 2012) Seismic Image Processing (, a premier supplier of integrated seismic processing and rock physics services to the oil and mining industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Hazel Mather as Senior Geophysicist to its Land Processing Team. In this role, Hazel will enhance SIP’s land processing capabilities with her expertise in shallow, high resolution processing for mining and shale gas applications.

“I would like to welcome Hazel to the SIP team,” said Jagat Deo, CEO. “Hazel’s appointment continues SIP’s goal to expand its Land Processing department as we project forward to meet the increasing number of new projects and repeat business we receive. Hazel’s experience in shale gas processing opens up a new and exciting market for SIP.”

Hazel has 20 years oil industry experience and holds qualifications to post-graduate level. Prior to joining SIP she held positions as Associate Lecturer at University of Derby and as Senior Geophysicist in IMC Geophysics Ltd and Lynx Information Systems Ltd.
